I recently fixed a leak to my slave cylinder, but now third gear grinds . What are my options besides paying the $700+ for third gear?

 

Have you tried bleeding your clutch system again? Repairing the slave cylinder shouldn't affect your gearbox. Also, check that your slave cylinder is bolted on properly and that it it is pushed as far as possible to the driver's side.

 

tried it, third gear still grinds :thumbsdow

 

Check if your clutch release fork was bent or damaged when the slave cylinder was removed.
