Ive noticed in the past week that my rear suspension area squeaks over bumps and its pretty loud. My car jas about 27000 miles on it, and i do have the aftermarket rear sway.

Do you guys have any idea what it could be? I know its a very vague description, and is prob nopt much help. I just wanted to see if you guys thought it could be shocks or struts or anything like that.

i'd check the sway bar first, check the bolts to ensure they are properly tightened, not sure what the torque specs are but someone here should know. might want to ping xizor on this.

 

Grease and/or lubricate the bushings on the rear sway...Dan's really the expert here on bushings and all, hopefully he will chime in...

 

I'm having squeaking too but only over large bumps. Going to lube the bushings today or tomorrow.

 

I had the same problem, as a quick fix i sprayed silicone spray on my swaybar bushings...fixed the problem....I'm gunna take the bushings off and really grease them up once I have time.

 

Ok cool, i think i am going to take a look at them tomorrow, ill let you guys know what i find out.

I haven't had any squeeking with either sway bar, I didn't think rubber bushings like on the comptech were supposed to make noise, but its worth taking htem off and lubing the insides.
