Suspension Rattle Again?

sigh.. again..

my left front suspention make thie annoying rattle when i drive down a circular ramp..(car is making right circular motion so leaning toward left side) left front suspension make strange sound as if spring is being compressed but dont want to comply. and also sounds like as if you are rubbing against a rubber that is WET. Took to acura of Glendale..they were able to reproduce the sound but found no physical problem..they lubricated the chasis and joints.. the problem subsided.

however..after 1 week..the problem came back...though not as loud as before. but still there and noticeable even so.. bug the hell out of me..

The car drives straight, no problem at all. no steering wheel rattle..drives perfectly straight and on center..so not alignment problem

anyone have any idea on what this might be?

PS: i tried different circular parking structure and all 3 other suspensions are fine. just the left front..im wondering if its just that annoying sound with no problem but no cure.. or can shock or things go bad? How would i tell acura to replace it if the sound persist but they cant find physical problem? thanks!

try to go to another dealer and see if they can help isolate the problem....if not then i would suggest going back to the dealer that you purchased the car from and make sure they take care of the situation since it is still under warranty..

i'm assuming this sound is happening with the 'stock' suspension correct? you haven't modified your suspension??

Maybe the spring is not fully in the spring seat?

I would just take apart the front shock/spring assembly and inspect the top mount bushings, sleeve and spring seat mating surface. Then reassemble the unit and verify torque spec. Simply applying lube is kind of lame...

that's what i suspect. since car drives fine. i am not TOO worried about the suspension assembly breaking down, but i do suspect maybe suspension isnt sitting in the bushin... rubbers too well...ill try to see if they woul dtake it apart to see. By the way. IF they do take it apart. and put it back. would i need alignment?

by the way. after dealer take apart my suspension and replace the shock. Is it necessary for my car to receive a alignment? or only if it drives weird after the job? or should i insist on alignment?
