Sunglass holder malfunction.

I occasionally experience this; the holder won't close or open (temporarily) no matter how many times I press on it. This morning was very cold here in NC and maybe this was the reason I couldn't open the thing. It did after the inside warmed up a bit.

Any similar experiences?

Cup holder lid is difficult and then slow to open at times. Worse in when it's cold .

I dont know about problems opening, but I have a HUGE scratch across mine. (dont ask how I managed that) Can the door be replaced? might solve the other problem too if it can removed and lubed.

That's funny... read this thread yesterday and was thinking

But this morning, it was about 5 degrees, and my sunglass holder did the same thing. Really had to push it hard to get it to open. Odd... maybe the plastic slightly expands in the real frigid cold.
