Strange Engine Sound / Vibration

Hi All. I am having a small problem and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. This started a few weeks ago. I have an '05 AT. In either 1st or 2nd gear, if I am moderately hard on the gas, I get a funny buzzing/vibration between around 2500rpm and 3200rpm. This only happens when I accelerate a little faster than normal. If I accelerate normally, it seems fine, and it seems if I floor it, I don't notice it. I can feel this as a slight vibration as well as hear it. It also seems to not accelerate as smoothly when this is happening. Other than that, it runs as normal, accelerates smoothly as cruises at highway speeds fine. I plan to get it back to the dealer soon to address this, but wanted to know if it sounds familiar to anyone else. Thanks in advance.

i've the buzzing sound but no vibration.. and it happens within the same RPM range which is 2500 - 3200 rpm.. i'll take it back to the dealership and have them check it this week.. hope that its not rocket science but as what i heard from the service guy who test drove my car, he said this is not a common problem.. but some other guy on this forum has the same problem too..

It happens to me when I changed from 4th to 5th in SS mode, rpm is around 2500 -3000 rpm. It seems like floor it a lil' above 3000rpm then shift the gear will correct the problems?

On my accord, it would have a buzz at a specific rpm. My driveway has a bump which always hits my accord's heatshield (for the catalytic converter). I'm assuming it's the heatshield that does the rattling. I've also heard that other people had the problem due to the joint between the header/down pipe/catalytic converter.

Basically the rattling happens when the rpm's vibration causes something to resonate...

Help!!! My accord is dying

Hello guys, I am a very unhappy driver. My car (5 MT european Accord CL7 102000 Km) needs help and the stupid f...... dealer said that there is no problem with my Accord. Early this week before Easter I experienced something else...now along with the buzzing noises at acceleration now I can feel also a power loss.... it's like when I push the pedal I can feel no more of that kick that used to put a smile on my face. I think there is a torque surge somewhere in the car, because I can hear the engine growl free as if it's been released from the burden to spin the wheels. It's just louder and It's climbing faster in RPM. I tried to overtake an old car on the highway on the third lane and I couldn't do it. 5'th gear at 7000 RPM for nothing ,there was no more power delivered to the wheels. The car it's still accelerating but very slowly. I taught I can live with the buzzing/rattling noises but now this ...I took it again to the dealer. It made a oil change and said that everything is normal. WTF. I will try to find a new service, but this was the only one Honda service within 50 km radius.
Anybody with the same problems?
Happy Easter and greetings from Germany,

What I meant is that even at maximum RPM the car has no power. Usually I don't drive my car like that. And actually is 6800 RPM where the car reaches its maximum power. At around 7000 RPM the limiter kicks in.

Happy Easter and greetings from Germany,
That is just the nature of a tsx. Dont expect this car to have any torque past second gear.

There must be a power surge. The car is not accelerating anymore like used to. I used to get for 0-100 KMH around 8 secs, and now I reach it within 12 secs or so. Figure that out.

Today I've been again to the service. They took it and after one hour said that there is nothing wrong with the car. I don't know anymore what to do. I think I'll just sell it.
