Stock mudflaps

I removed the stock mudflaps on my 2008 TSX. Why would any manufacturer put black plastic mudflaps a $30k sports sedan... Now the car looks much better, only now I have the little holes in the rear bumper for the screws. What would work best to fill the holes? I was thinking about glueing some black platic pop rivets in there and cutting off the tops to fill the holes flush. Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Blair

Can you just use the screws to fill in the holes?

i do not think the manufacturer put the mudflaps on -the dealer did that. If you did not want them you should have asked the dealer to remove them. I personally like the mudguards on my tsx.

Ideally he'd burn them so that no other TSX owner ever gets the terrible idea that those abominations should ever be affixed to their vehicle.

I like them too...

I would agree that they are out of place if they were 10" long and had shiny-babe silhouettes on them... that or Yosemite Sam "BACK OFF". Otherwise, they are fairly discrete, although perhaps somewhat unnecessary.

They scratch your car pretty badd think of mudguards with plastic vibrating against wind on to your paint...

10,000 miles i removed min and i had scars and i replaced my side skirts and still have those scars lightly on there...

I would look into some padding inbetween.

I do not have any plans of taking the mudguards off so I will not see those scratches. I also have no plans of lowering it which can cause alot more scratches/
My car suffers from numerous rock chips. It would need a complete covering to avoid them.

I think the car definitely looks better without them. Also, when you lower it they mudflaps have a tendency to hit speed bumps and thinks and make a terrible noise. I put the screws used to affix the mudflaps in the holes temporarily, but they look kind of big in there without the mudflaps on.

I normally go about the same route; I put my mud flaps back on during the winter months as it keeps the salt and other road debris off the paint...

Mine came with the mud flaps from the dealer. I removed them after a week. It is strictly personal preference. If I lived up north with winters of rock salt, cinders, slag, and sand I would have probably left mine on.
My gripe is the extremely brittle paint. My front end stone chips easier than any car I have previously owned. I should have purchased the clear bra which really does not look bad and works.

If anyone wants my OEM mud flaps drop me an e-mail. $40.00 (OBO) plus shipping.
