steering wheel control buttons

steering wheel control buttons

all of a sudden my steering wheel controls stop working. all of them including the audio, cruise control, and navi. does anyone know what could be wrong ? thanks

nope ! checked both fuse boxes. under the hood and driver kick panel. all fuses are fine. weird thing is theres no cruise control fuse ? am i missing another fuse box ?

You might have the dreaded navi blackout problem. Search around, its happend to a few members here.

nah i dont have that. everything still works just that all my buttons on my steering wheels aren't working. thanks for the link tho

If youre still under warranty just take it into the dealer.

Next time you're in for an oil change just have them "take a quick glance" to see if they know what's up. They won't charge you unless they have to do any work.

Does the horn work? Is the SRS (airbag) light on. All of these circuits go thru the cable reel at the top of the steering column. If the steering wheel has ever been removed, or the steering column disconnected, it's very easy to get the cable reel out of index and it will fail.
