Starting Problem
Hey guys,
Alright, so for the past ~6 months, it has seemed as though my 06 TSX has had trouble starting. I'll put my key in the ignition like normal and turn, but instead of firing right up it sounds as though there is some hesitation. It even sounds like it's going to stall sometimes
It usually only does this when I haven't turned the car on for around 12 hours. Is it my battery? When I look at the charge meter it says that it's fully charged. Or could it be my starter? I'm going to take it into the dealer but I'd like to have some information to convey to them, considering most of the SA's don't know shit.
I'm not sure if it matters, but my car has 31k miles on it.
Thanks

it's a car-drive it
I have no problems with the OEM battery on my 06 tsx, bought new 11/17/06.
The dealer ran a battery test for me. It still has a excellent charge. My car now has 60,000+miles.
I also still have the original OEM tires with alot of thread left.

I have an 06 too and I'm having the same problem...I would say this started about 2 weeks ago...as I start the engine it sounds like it's struggling to fire up and and the sound it makes is not normal either( higher pitched scratchy sound)...any suggestions? For my case I doubt a bad battery would cause it to make a different sound too but I could be wrong?

^^I think just about every battery out there, Sears, Optima, etc etc all offer batteries more more CAs/CCAs. There are plenty of threads on this as well, which is why I'm locking. It is more than likely a battery issue.
