Starter Replacement, Lower Intake Electrical Connector Isn't Coming Off
HI Everyone,
I am replacing my starter and am running into an issue with the lower electrical line that runs under the intake. From what I gather you are supposed to push in the clip from the back of the harness and slide it to the right. Next would me to push the left clip to disconnect the connector. I've tried both with my hands and a small flat screwdriver but the clip won't release. Does anyone know if I can use some WD40 on it to see if is persuades it to come off?
I found another video which they removed the intake and removed the connector from the other side of the intake. Is this safe to do?
Thanks

After messing around with it for about an hour and adding some WD40 it finally came off. There was so much rust on the metal which is attached to the intake that it caused it to swell up.
