SRS light

My 05 TSX SRS light came on. The dealer diagnosed the problem as a faulty drivers side seat belt buckle. The dealership said they replaced the seat belt buckle and what is called the tongue set. The tongue set is the actual seat belt and the retractor. When I got the car back, the seat belt did not look new and when I checked the year of manufacture it was listed as 2005. When I questioned the service manager, he said "Acura manufacturing date is the date the seatbelt itself was made. Acura produces lots of them at one time and stores them for shipping when needed." The p/n is 04818-SEC-A01ZC and is only for the '04 and '05 TSX.
Does this sound right?

They replace just the buckle and the retractor, not the belt itself. My 04 tsx has this issue as well(I don't have time to leave my car all day). It's a free repair because seat belts and restraint holders are warrantied for the life of your vehicle as long as your vehicle doesn't have a salvaged title.
