Go get it checked out by the dealer.

This happened to my TSX and it was a faulty driver side seat belt buckle; the sensor was going out.

It was replaced for free.

I have an '04 also, it happened at about 130,000 Miles

3Pedal,
was your SRS indicator flashing before it went steady?
Did you have extended warranty at the time??

My SRS indicator light would come on intermittently, but not flash.
It would turn on maybe 5-10 minutes into a drive then turn off randomly, but sometimes it would stay on until I turned my car off.

No extended warranty. My service advisor had told me that Acura/Honda had a limited lifetime warranty on SRS parts.

just brought mine in for the air bag light staying on. they said it was the passenger side curtain inflator gone bad. $300 for the part and $200 for labor. aftermarket warranty wont cover either. Trying to figure out how your dealer said it was covered and my says its not??

Does your horn still work? how about any buttons attached to the steering wheel?

in my civic the Cable Reel in the steering wheel went bad and caused the SRS light to come on. when it went bad the horn and cruise control stopped working.

I had a similar issue and it was the passenger seat sensor. As TSX 3pedal says, take it back to the dealer that would be your best bet.
