I am having trouble deciphering my SRS codes. I have followed the procedure for retrieving the codes and have got the following:

4 long blinks, 6 short blinks - 4-6
4 long blinks, 5 short blinks - 4-5
4 long blinks, 4 short blinks - 4-4

I have found the meaning for codes 4-5 & 4-4, but for 4-6 I can't find any information.

Any help would be much appreciated.

 

46 - No signal from left side impact sensor (second sensor) and/or internal failure of left side impact sensor.

45 - Same as 46 for Right side impact sensor (second sensor).

44 - No signal from left side impact sensor (First sensor) and/or internal failure of left side impact sensor.

Have you had an accident? Get a shop manual if you intend to DIY.

The car has been in an accident in the past.

I have a service and shop manual for a 2004, but the codes weren't the same.

Does the 2006 model use different codes?

 

Would these be the correct codes?

 

Unfortunately I'm on the road and don't have my manual w/ me. If you have a shop manual for your model, I would go w/ that.

Your codes are correct for 04-05 model. They are different for 06-07 which is what I saw in shop manual for 04-07.
