so i'm all kinds of paranoid with my car after the clunking noise (due to the ABS apparently.. made another thread about it yesterday). here's another funny thing i heard when braking.

if i stop at a light or stop sign and brake a little more aggressively, when the car stops and lurches forward, then back, i hear this tiny spring sound coming from the passenger side of the car. kind of like a metal creaking, but possibly similar to that of a spring. it's just one sound. i'm not sure if this is cause for concern or not? i'm going to try and take the car into the dealership this week for some other stuff. i'm assembling a list of things i want checked out. it's an '07.

 

I have the same/similar noise, and if it's any consolation, it's been doing it since the day I bought it in May 2005 (16k miles on it). Been to the dealer and a private shop and no one can find anything wrong.

 

would it be a waste to tell the local acura service dept. to check it out?
