Soooooooo wet!!!!!!!

ok.....so i went to the beach with a bunch of friends this past week and i decided to bring my tsx (this time instead of having a friend drive all of us). on our last day, we checked out the hotel and decided to go to the beach and lay out one final time before we head back to va. UNBENOUNCE to me, my guy friend went to the water. heading back, he didn't change his swim trunks and sat at the back seat!!!!!!!

after getting home, I noticed water marks on the seat. he got the back seat all wet. will the salt water damage anything? i have a 2006 TSX (black int). will sea water react with the leather and discolorize it? i immediately wiped it with a damp cloth (don't know if that will save it or not). i didn't notice it till we got home after a 2.5 hour drive.

I had a similar situation in mine and there was no problem. I wiped mine down too so hopefully nothing happens to yours either.

take him to small claims court and get a new rear couch. If his trunks were really wet and leaked through the seats then the salt water could not only corrode the seating but also the chassis under the seat and floor upholstery. Your seat will also crack and if someones wearing jeans the buttons and dye will mess the seat up more.

Hmm, do I smell RUST!

You can do that, just have him pay for the supplies, if that don't work take it to professional detailer and they should have a remedy for you

if he's your friend, then use some leather cleaner/conditioner and let it go. Next time just tell them before they get in your car. Oh and be ready to be called "anal" about your car LOL
