Some help identifying a part...

I was cleaning out my TSX today, and when I got to the trunk I decided to vacuum the spare tire area. I've only owned the car a couple weeks (bought it used), so I'm not surprised to find random things in this rarely-seen area. Well, I found this thing...looks to be some sort of trim piece or cover from the interior of the car. I held it up to other pieces in the interior and it matches the Ebony plastic perfectly, so it must be from this car. Anyone out there have any idea what this piece is or where it goes? I tried looking under the dash, etc., but didn't see anything missing

I just checked my car for the piece you're holding. Open the drivers side pass door and look at the rear of the drivers seat where the seat tracks are. The piece looks like it covers the end of the track for the right side. Not sure how it attaches though. Maybe it just snaps on. Hope this helps.

Good thought, so I went out and took a look. It definitely looks like it could fit, and I tried getting it to fit but it wouldn't. I also looked at both front seats where they attach to the floor and none of the 4 rear mounting points have plastic covers on them. Should I have covers? I would think so....ugh, stupid used cars
