Two things in regards to the rattles...

1. I've had a legitimate case of it - coming from my windshield on the passenger side. It's quite "moody" but over time it seems like it may be decreasing (figure I'll wait till first oil change before complaining to the dealer).

2. I heard an even louder rattle after discovering the first - you know what? It turned out to be my sunglasses in the sunglass holder!!! I don't know about the acoustics in the car, but I swear it sounded like it was coming from the passenger-side window (note: not the same place as #1 above).

So moral of the story - for all you rattlers out there, be wary of the sunglasses...they can play tricks on you and may be your problem!!!

 

Exact same thing happened (sunglasses) and is happening ("moody" but perhaps decreasing others) to me, so I'll wait until oil change.
