Hey Guys, Quick question I noticed that 2 of my LED in my Driver Side Mirror were burn! anyone know how to change it or should i just get raped at the dealer for it? and how much would it cost!

The dealership will take you for a lot just because it's how they do. The problem with the mirror is that in order to replace the lights it has to be pretty much taken entirely apart since I looked into actually changing the colors of the light and this is the only way to change it. If you can deal with it then I would since if two burned out then maybe a couple more might but not sure how the LEDs in there would burn out since they have a long life, maybe you got crappy LEDs. Unless you really know someone who can change out that light without messing up your mirror then I say just go to the dealership and get ripped off :-/

you can loook around online and find it list is ~60 but i found it at an acura direct internet place (peoria acura or delray acura) for about $50 for the LED assy..

I wonder, has anyone tried to upgrade the '04 TSX to the '06up heated mirrors?

 

Unless you swapped them out, they're not LEDs, they're just regular bulbs.

Regarding the heated mirror swap, it would also require a wire harness swap. Hardly worth it.

 

?? the mirror signal lights? they are led, well at least mine are... i believe sealed, and sold as an assy... i don't know if you can just 'change' one out....

I got a 05 TSX with Heated Side Mirror!, so by what i read they are regular bulbs or LED?

They are LED's. They are sealed into the mirror light assy. There is probably a way to cut open the assembly to replace the individual LED's, but Acura sells it as a complete part. #1 or 2 here . And you have to remove the mirror glass and actuator in order to remove/replace the turnsignal in the mirror.

 

they are NOT leds....... the light on one of ours got cracked and when I replaced it I dissembled it since it was broken anyways. they are conventional light bulbs. small they are, but they are not leds......

 

Not according to the ETM. The '04 TSX ETM diagram of the side mirror turn signal light clearly shows that they are LED's. And I've had the light apart in an '06 Civic Hybrid (admittedly a different part number) and they are LED's as well.

 

They absolutely are LEDs on my '06.
