Side mirror heaters switch does not light up?

Side mirror heaters switch does not light up?
Is this supposed to light up when the lights are on?

can one of you jsut confirm if yours lights up or not? I would think it does.

no it doesnt light up when u turn on the head lights. only the orange light comes on when u turn on the mirror heat,.

thank you. I wonder why they didn't make it light up. I had a heck of a time finding it this morning when it was pitch black outside.
