My 6mt has developed a rattle when the shifter is in 5th gear....anyone else experiance this? I know there are many rattling problems with panels and dash......which unfortunately I am also a victim too....but I haven't heard anyone complain about the shifter.

 

Only in 5th? That's odd...

 

I have this problem too, but it vibrates a lot in 3rd and 4th for me.

 

Yea...only in 5th gear, I can feel the vibrating on the shifter....

 

It could actually be related to a specific speed, not really the gear you are in. In just so happens that you are usually in 5th gear at that particular speed (maybe 55mph?).

So my guess is you might need to balance your tires.
