Seat Warmers Problem

Seat Warmers Problem
I have an 06 tsx and I'm having problems with my seat warmers working. When I put it on the low setting, they seem to be working fine. However, when I switch it to high they do not work at all.
Does anyone know if this a common problem? I don't know if there is a way to troubleshoot so I can figure out what the problem is.

The problem is only happening on the drivers side, sorry I did not make that clear. Also, the light comes on for both low and high but the seat does not get warmer on high. Just to be clear.

In our vehicles there are two different heating elements and wiring from the switch to the seat, one for high and one for low. I would guess that somewhere in that circuit there is an issue. You could try and ensure that at the connector underneath the seat you have:
a) continuity for the high wattage heater and
b) you have power when the heater is supposed to be energized.
There is one common lead bringing power to the switch to control both the high and low, so at least you know that nothing upstream of that is an issue.
The high wattage heater incorporates an automatic reset switch as a regulating device. While I am not aware of any problems with these they only will last a certain number of cycles. When they go they may open or short depending on the mode of failure. But either way I am not aware of any way to get to the part to service/replace it. (Unless you know an upholsterer)
Good luck and let us know what you find.

You can check out this how-to from a TL. I believe it's very similar (haven't tried it myself yet)
