seam between front bumper edge/bottom of headlight

hi all,

so yesterday i parked in this spot on the side of a street. there wasn't room in front of me for a spot, but this lady apparently squeezed her rustbucket neon right in front of me and partially obstructed a driveway.

upon further inspection, her bumper was pressing right into my front plate. i'm assuming she backed all the way in until she bumped into my car.

i looked for any scratches or dings...nothing really. but i'm a little paranoid about the spacing between the front bumper where it meets the bases of the headlights. how much space should be there? should there be a slight gap where you can look in? should there be no gap at all? i can't remember what it looks like originally. the seams by the sides of the (by the wheel well) look good, but i'm just worried about the front. hoping the foam/bumper was able to absorb the impact w/out any damage.

There should be a slight gap. My gap is about 0.16"

thanks. i guess the space is reasonable on my car then.

i would've tried to track down the lady, but i doubt it would've done much good. she doesn't give a crap about her jalopy and would probably key my car if i made a fuss about it.

not going to be parking there going forward. stupid fat cow.

You should have keyed her car. She might have caused the license plate screws on your front place to hit your bumper, which will cause a scratch. I know if I saw someone touching my car with their car, they'd probably lose all the air in their wheels =]
