Scratches to touch up.
Scratches to touch up.
Someone hit my car and ran when my car was parked at school, I thougth I could easily fix it with some touch and paint. My friend told me I could get the same nighthawk black paint at honda for a cheaper price. I did that and it looks awful or maybe I did a crappy job. I was wondering how to fix the scratches, it looks like scuffs on it. I'm asking for advice on how to fix it.
Once I get a hold of a good camera pictures will be up.

If u ask this in the wash n wax section you'd get alot more help, but i know with mine i had one hell of a tim sanding it untill it was smooth n to the right color, then buffing the hell out of it with all sorts of products..

Did you use the exact same paint code? there's a thread I've posted to recently that describes how to determine your factory paint code.
It seems that Honda dealerships generally carry paint pens for Acura codes, my local dealership had NH700M (2006 Alabaster Silver Metallic). BUT you have to match the code right, not just ask for "Nighthawk Black."
