Hi all,
I was wondering if rust inside the door is normal? When I say inside I mean when you take off the panels to replace speakers or what ever ... If you take the speakers off and look inside the hole, I notice that there was rust and alot of it was on this bar that seem to run straight across the door. I guess thats a safety bar or something. Anyone knows that if this is normal?

 

I could be mistaken, but it's my impression that rust is never normal on a car (unless it's a crap-bucket domestic). I'd get that looked at by the dealer ASAP...rust is car-cancer, it metastasizes.

 

if any of you guys are planning to install speakers .. can you guys take a look inside your door through the speaker hole ... I'm sure I'm not the only one with rust since its not just a single spot but rather than in a large area.
