can we get some pictures? or is it that light that it's really not that visible?
They are pretty bad man. You can't see them on the outside, but you'll definitely see them on the inside. Very annoying IMO.

Warranty won't cover scratches.

I am about to install the Anti Scratch Kit, but I was wondering if the people who have installed it answer my question. Is this the part that you put the moleskin over?

I'm also not quite understanding this step of the door panel removal? Some plastic pieces that aren't removed are supposed to go back on the door panel? Is this necessary?

^^^ that is the piece you need to add the moleskin too. To answer your second question, those little white pieces of plastic are what hold the door panel in place. Sometimes they pull from the panel when you take it off and you have to put them back on the panel before putting the panel on the door.

Ahhhh, got ya. They look like the same plastic pieces that the side skirts use to lock the skirts in place, am I correct on this? If so, I would have to angle the pieces when I put it back on the door panel.

Spray on Tint

I know of a person who got a spray on tint that never scratches. It looked great and he never had any beef with it.

nope, you'll just have to slide them into place on the door panel and then they pop back into the metal on the door. No special angling required.

Well, there is already a great guide w/ pics for the door panel removal that can be found here. I will take pics of the Anti Scratch Kit and some pics of me putting it on if that'll help some of you out. I should be doing this on Sunday depending on how abused I am from the Bachelor's Party the night before

i got my windows tinted maybe 6-8 months ago and haven't noticed this problem...i have noticed, however, a periodic squeek from the driver's side window when i put it up or down, but it doesn't happen often enough for me to care too much.

Yes, i agree. So far, i see a few people with tint that say they have madico and it doesn't scratch. But i would like to see the trend here. But so far people just say their tint doesn't scratch, but doesn't give much more detail.

Rubber Seals

After weeks of bitch'n to Acura they finally fixed my problem with the tint. They pulled the door panels off and cut the rubber seal back some. They also put new tint on the windows even though I didn't have the tint put on through the dealership.

That just seems like rubber though. How does that rubber scratch up the tint? If it's the dirt that gets trapped in there, if i just keep it extra clean... should that fix the scratch problem?

I believe that's what everyone has been doing. I purchased the mole skin, but I never installed it because I was too lazy. I started cleaning out the rubber strip, but I got lazy with that too, but the scratches seem to have stopped...or at least I think they have. It was mainly on the window on the driver side.

btw. if anyone wants my moleskin, I'll sell it for $30 shipped (what I purchased it for)

I got vertical scratches all over my tint but it's not a big deal to me.

However, I have this problem on driver side window when I try to close the window the glass will actually pop out of socket, because the rubber is bent and force the glass move outside the socket. I will need to go to outside of the car and manually bent the rubber to make space so the glass will stay in socket and close up.

Anyone got the same problem? Hwo do you fix it?

Your window track may be out of adjustment...
