the erratic rpm is like the final msg that somethign is up with your ac while your ac is on. the rough idle being still present can be caused by ac system.

I had the rough idle issue in neutral and ac on has been going on for a while. eratic rpm started happening recently.

Just had the ac condensor with dryer replaced today. Checked the old condensor and dryer .. the pouch that fitlers out contaminate is pitch black at the end where the fluid starts to flow through. the other end of the filter is white. So one would guess that black end is cloggin up the ac system. causing the compressor to turn on and off casuing the eratic rpm.

my erractic rpm and rough idle with ac on is no longer there. if you're willing to take it to the dealer .. have them check the pressure of the ac's high and low side. pretty sure that one of the needle indicating pressure is gonna bounce up and down like a kid on speed jumpin on a pogo stick.
