Well i brought my car in today for the 30k check up. I told them about the rice crispie sounds i was hearing from the rear view mirror roof area as well. When i picked it up today the sound was gone, apparently there was a TSB for that problem and they used some felt to get rid of the noise. WOO HOO! They also replaced my Acura center caps on my stock wheels because mine were looking pretty faded and beat up. They even ordered me a brand new license plate holder because the stainless steel TSX one that i bought from ANOTHER dealership was losing the black paint on the TSX letters. Now that is good service

is that the TSB jtso posted up, I hate my rice cripsy sounds, but they've gone away w/ the hot weather so I've been living.

 

mine were not temp. dependant, they are all gone now though. its amazing how little sounds like that can ruin your outlook on a car, for me anyways. i was ready to sell my car because i was getting so sick of that sound.

for a second there I thought that Kellogs had discontinued a product line. I like Rice Krispies, wouldn't want that to happen.

 

no you can still buy rice crispies, you just cant hear them in my TSX anymore
