repaint

repaint

Hello,

If anyone ever repaint the part of the car? I need to repaint the side of my car since somebody keyed it. How does it look after repainting job? is the color matched 100% perfectly? Thx for the help

Sometimes it matches, sometimes it doesn't. Make sure you go to a good shop that guarantees their work and you should be alright.

I would recommend that you get a acura certified body shop to do the work. On top of just painting the door, you may need to paint other parts just so that the paint blend in better, cause if you just do the door it probably won't match 100% and you'll notice just the doors been painted.

Thx for the advice guys, do you think it's worth to repaint if I only got keyed. I want the car to be perfect, but I am also affraid repainting only makes it worse. Thx

Depends on how bad the keying was. Do you have a pic?

it's not bad at all. It is a really small, but it goes down to the basic coat.

Well, if it's deep enough, you'll want to cover it up somehow so it doesn't rust. Go to a good body shop and get their opinion.
