It seems that when I turn on the defogger/defroster for the rear window, it only works for the bottom 3/4 of the window. Anyone else experience this issue? This is really strange since the brown lines for the defroster that are etched on the window runs from the top all the way to the bottom of the rear windshield. It might be possible that the line is cut somewhere.

P.S. I don't have any tints on the car.

 

Top part is the radio antenna.

 

Takes time to demist the whole of the window - partly in conjunction with the heater temp and fan speed.
Crank them up to help things clear quicker, then drop to maintain and avoid falling asleep.
Also keep recirculation off whilst demisting.

Interesting, I never knew that but I've been experiencing this too while defrosting the morning frost. I had wondered if my tints had screwed it up too, but it appears not. thanks.

 

cha ching! but if you turn the radio up super loud it should activate the top 1/4 to complete the defrosting.....
