Rear camber problem -> new subframe

So I too have been plagued by the infamous rear camber problem. My car after aligned is showing -2.0 and -2.8 (left and right respectively). I have an 05 TSX but unfortunately the TSB doesn't apply to my vehicle based on VIN code. However, the dealer is stating that the upper arms isn't necessarily the problem, it's the subframe. The best part is the estimate is around $2000+.

So, should I go for a used subframe from a scrapped vehicle (which had a front end collision) rather than the dealer. Or do you think it's not worth the risk and just get it done by the dealer?

Subframe? So the car must have been in an accident? If it's just a camber problem, replace the rear arms with an Ingalls kit, have an alignment performed, and you should be good to go.

No, never been in an accident and I'm the original owner.

The only thing which I think may have caused it is hitting a curb while in parking lot. But even then, the rim did not really show any significant damage to imply that the subframe was damaged.

That's why I'm not sure if it's really the problem or not...

I think I would get a second opinion before proceeding with any repairs. $2k is a good chunk of change. If it is the subframe, I would not risk using one off a wrecked car.
