Problems on 2004 Acura TSX
What up Acurazine I'm new to the site and have an 04 TSX that has been a great car the 2 years I have had it but over the past couple of months a few problems have made themselves present....Most recently there is this whining sound that sounds like it's coming from the tires that gets very loud as I increase speed and I don't know what the hell it is...I know it's not the tires because they are practically brand new so I'm thinking it could be the wheel bearing or something...I looked around the site to see if there was thread or post about this but no luck...If anybody has had this probably let me know because I want to get this fix quick

If the sound gets louder as you drive faster, it is a good indication that a wheel bearing is failing. It may sound like a mur, mur, mur, mur
sound (sorry it's the best that I can think of for the sound). Be prepared as it's going to cost you around $300-400 for the repair unless you bring the knuckle to someone who can press out the old and replace it. Get this done in the next 1-2 weeks.

I kinda figured it would be the wheel bearing...The repair cost is what I'm afraid of now...I guess I'll add that to the list of repairs I need to have done to the car...The lights on the radio has went out, the radio goes in and out (possibly bad ground wire?), I am getting this embarrassing swooping sound when the A/C is on, brakes that wear out quickly, a few rattles here and there, and the wheel bearing issue...I love this car but I wouldn't expect this of a late model Acura....I had a 97 Nissan Altima before this car purchased in 02 and didn't have any issue with it the first 2 years of ownership unlike my Acura...Thanks for the info Npolite

I'll be getting with my local Acura dealership about the radio lights early next...I hope they don't give me no dumb excuse not to fix it by saying something about the car being out of warranty...I'm getting this wheel bearing issue looked at this weekend by a friend that works on cars
