Hey guys,

Recently I've been having problems with both the seat warmers and power adjustment in the drivers seat. The seat warmer just doesnt work, and only 4 out of the 8 power adjustments for the seat work. I guess I'll have to give my dealer a call, but its kind of frustrating as my car is only like 2 months old. Plus its been freezing here lately so I really miss the seat warmers. On a side note, I did smell a slight buring smell about a week ago which is just about the time the warmer went out...'
Any suggestions?

Look under your seat and you'll see the wiring harness for the power seat and warmers. Make sure they are firmly connected and no wires melted. Melting seems highly unlikely though unless you got something hot spilt down there. It will be hard to get your hand under the seat, but i have had good luck retreiving coins by moving the seat all the way forward. Give that a shot, if it still doesn't work take it to the dealer.

 

If you smelled something burning about the same time the warmer went out, I'd get it into the dealership quick. You don't need to have your TSX burn up on you. Sounds like the heater wiring burned through.
