Please help! Car at idle engine feels like its about to stall

hey everyone, ive read issues on this problem on some other threads but no definite answer.

this all happened after my oil change yesterday. on the way home, i WOT to make sure my car wouldnt shake due to tire rotating. but as i hit the 7000k mark, i noticed something wrong. as i got to the stop light, my engine would begin shaking violently and the rpms would keep dropping from where it usually idles (around 900 to 500 or lower) constantly. when i tried to accelerate, it felt like there was no power, until i pretty much had to floor it and it actually moved a little bit.

i took it back to the place and apparently they said they used 10w30 oil?? wtf?? so they drained that and used the correct 5w30 oil but the problem was still there. they scanned it and said a couple pistons were misfiring.

now they want to take my engine apart to see whats going on. anyone with some ideas on what this could be? i dont want them to take apart my engine and charge me up the ass for this. any help is appreciated. thanks!

You NEED to get that CEL code pulled. Immediately. Don't drive it if you don't have to -- borrow an OBD-II reader, or if closeby, bring it to a shop that does scans (Many parts stores like Autozone I think do it for free). Once you have the codes, look them up or ask here, and you'll know what the general problem is.
