I changed oil and noticed (previous changes by local Honda shop) that w/ 4.4 qts (spec amount for oil+filter change) that oil was below the lower mark on dipstick. I added to 5qts and still was short of upper mark.

Anyone else have this experience?

That's strange because I use 4.5qts and the dipstick registered a little below the upper range. Did you wait a few minutes after filling before checking the dipstick?
