OEM Spoiler problem.....

My car is at the dealership now because my A/C broke. Its getting fixed now so I told them that my OEM spoiler on the left side is loose (the base of the spoiler rattes and lifts up a lil).

The dealership just called me and said they cant reattach the spoiler and add new tape (which I asked them to do).

Is there anything I can do, can a body shop take care of this? It should be an easy fix.

It would depend heavily on what exactly is wrong with it. Any idea?

Funny story about that too.
I brought the car in yesyerday 7am. The service advisor calls me at 10am and ass if i have an aftermarket alarm. I said yes and she said that could be the prob. I said impossible because I got the alarm the 2nd day I owned the car.

She then asks if I had any other installations and I said no. She asks me if I had any interior work done and I told her the only work done to the interior was replacing the broken visors and that done by them (Acura).

She says okay, well it seems like youre missing an internal sensor. I said I had the car for 4+ yrs and the A/C stopped working last week. Impossible its this sensor you say im missing. She then says ok will call u back.

$3 hrs later she calls back and says we cant figure it out. Your compressor is fine, relays are fine, etc. The only thing we see wrong is this sensor is missing and we'll take care of that for you (no charge). I said cool and didnt want to argue thinking thats prob not it.

I call them today at 11am and ask about my spoiler and she says that they installed the sensor and still the A/C doesnt work. She said she, the tech that worked on my car, and the tech foreman is going to "get to the bottom" of the issue.

I wish I had pics, but the car is at the dealership. My friend tugged on the spoiler a few weeks ago. I noticed that the tape holding the spoiler to the trunk has come off (so only bolts holding the spoiler down). When I close the trunk, the base of the spoiler (normally held down by tape) bounces off the trunk.
