OEM Body Kit Problem ... Check yours

Hi all,
Coming from clubtsx ... I saw someone post a link to acura-tsx so here I am, much better forums overall. Anyways, I just noticed a rusting problem with the body kits. It seems like water is getting trapped in the area between the body itself and the body kit. I'm able to see rust forming in the creases where they both join. Anybody esle encounter this problem? The rust hasn't eaten through or anything, but I'm worried that it may over time. I'm thinking about just taken the body kit off and wiping it down about once month. I noticed it on the rear spoiler, but havent checked the side or the front. Any suggestions or comments?

Oh I just found 2 new cool features regarding the TSX. I don't know if anybody has noticted, but the lights turn off automatically if you forget and leave them on. Also the windshield wipers adjust to your speed. IF you come to a complete stop, they will be on a longer delay. Once you start moving again they'll speed up to your orginal setting. Pretty cool I think.

Where on the rear spoiler?? Any place that should have had exposed metal would've been paint with touch-up per the instructions.

Also, where do you live in reference to the ocean? I would certainly take the car with the rust on it back to the dealer and get whatever is causing the rust FIXED.

I installed the full body kit with the help of my dad, and from what we have experienced, there should be no problem with water getting trapped in the body kit. Plus the body kit installs directly to the plastic fenders of the car.

I looked at my oem body kit and I do notice that water does accumulate between the kit and the car. But the affected parts are plastic with paint over them. I don't think it will be a problem.
