Neuspeed Front Sway Bar Broke
Hi All -
Long time since I've logged in and posted. Please flog me later!
Friday night, I was taking a left turn at a whopping 7mph, when I heard a sound (similar to the sound you'd hear if you ran over a 1" stone at 7 mph). The next sound I hear is a piece of metal dragging on the ground. Being as it was 6:30pm, it was difficult to see what was hanging down.
It turned out to be my Neuspeed front sway bar. I'm now back to the stock one, and it feels like I'm in a canoe. This car is my daily driver, and I have the suspension for handling (I'm a retired auto crosser).
Anyone know if (a) Neuspeed will check this out, (b) Neuspeed has some "warranty", (c) anyone else had this problem and (d) what will be a better replacement.
Thanks!

Thanks for the link. Do you have any experience with other brands? I'd really hate to go through this again - removing/installing is a long process for the front.

Really cool torsional high cycle fatigue failure.
If you want to get it to last longer, next time you buy one take it to a guy who does machining/metalworking/fabricating and ask him to shot peen it. Won't be cheap. I bet Neuspeed doesn't shot peen their sway bars. Shot peen, not shot blasting. Should triple fatigue life or even more.
