Need some input please!

Yesterday while accelerating to 40mph on a freeway onramp my VSA light came on, acutally both lights, the exclamation one (forgot what the manual said that was) and the VSA lit up and stayed on. There was no excessive wheel spin or water or hard turning involved, just accelerating. I tried pressing the VSA off button several times with no luck. When I got home I shut my car off and it didnt come back unitl today, during the same situation. I looked in the manual and it says if it stays on their is a malfunction. What could of caused this? Also while braking from high speed 80+ I get severe vibration at the wheel. I was told it could not be alignment issues since it doesnt pull to any one side and it couldnt be wheel balance either. Could it possibly be warped rotors? In either case do these problems pose any immediate danger? Thanks for any input and advice guys!

Yeah, I would go to the dealer and see what the problem is...Hopefully you can fix it under the warranty..

puma0504,

The sensor on the VSA system may be sticking caused by road dirt, taking you car to car wash and pressure wash both front wheels it may solve your problem.
The vibration is caused by either wrapped rotors or the malfunction of brake pads. Go to the thread " Brake, brake ,brake ". for more information.
Good Luck.

Warped rotors are a common problem on TSX. I had mine resurfaced at no charge when dealer did my 30000 mile service. The VSA issue also needs to be addressed by dealer.

Thanks for the advice guys. There seems to be no road debri. The VSA light has not come on again, so let's hope it doesn't. I did however make an appt. with my dealer to have these issues looked at. Thanks again.
