Maintenance Required Indicator light

i follow these instructions many times
but it doesnt seem to work

Any advice?

Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the Select/Reset
knob in the instrument panel, then
turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
Hold the knob for about ten seconds
until the indicator resets.

I had the same problem. Apparently the process is very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Make sure everything is off before doing it - headlights, radio, HVAC, seat heaters, defrosters... everything.

When you do the steps you need the press down on the brake then hold the select/reset button for 10 seconds when you turn it to II (on) position.

Then wait till it goes away.

Note if you don't want to reset your miles on bank a
set it on bank b
so it resets the one your not counting.
