Red face Need help finding spare tire replacement

So I've had some crappy tire luck recently -- 3 flats in 3 months.
Which has led to using the spare WAY more than usual. Now it's starting to get bald.

After looking online, I can't seem to find a spare replacement. I found warning labels, spare tire covers, even the mini wheel but not the actual tire.

I know I could just go to the dealer but I'd rather not pay their monster markup.

Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Have you tried calling a tire shop, i.e. Discount Tire (America's Tire), to ask if they can order one for you?

I was looking for one for my Civic a few years ago and had an equally difficult time. The only company that even offered to sell me one was Goodyear and they wanted like $200 for it. Plus it was back ordered indefinitely. You can guess where I told them to stick that tire.

They also told me that most shops are unable replace just the tire because their equipment is unable to get bead over the rim or something. Apparently its because of the pressure those tires are designed to work on. Typically its 60 psi or higher..

Is the trunk deep enough for a full-size?

I doubt it. There's a just enough room from the bottom of the board that covers the spare to the top of the spare and it's toolkit thing to fit a ~1" thick foam block. You'd have to sacrifice some significant trunk space to make it happen.

I'd try ebay (and don't forget a Honda Accord unit will work too). I found one for my BMW without waiting too long (but they may be desirable, so be ready to pay).
