Need advice for a turbo install on a 2006 Acura TSX
I have a 2006 TSX with the K24A2 Engine and 6MT. I want to eventually install a turbo setup on this vehicle, but I don't know what parts to buy or where to find them. I know I need a wide assortment of parts and they will be expensive, but I also read that you can save money and have a better system if you choose individual parts instead of a kit. If anyone has any experience in this procedure, I would love a little guidance. Thanks in advance!

I'll give you some advice...save your money and forget about doing this
Why would you want to turbo a FWD car anyways?
The money you save will come in handy with maintenance and unexpected repairs

It's his car let him do what he wants. Shit some of the fastest cars are fwd doing 9-10 sec all day. Throw in a lsd while u are at it.
Go on k20a.com and look through their build threads.

I think the important thing to keep in mind is that buying the parts is easy. The installation, tuning, and ongoing troubleshooting can get very expensive.

So, to start off, this is not a soon-to-be project. I am simply gathering info. If you had enough time and money, you would do everything to make your car faster. I just want to know what to shoot for and I'm hoping to learn something about forced induction in the process. I'm not looking for advice on whether or not to do this, someday, I will be doing this. I'm just looking for a method, a list, some experience and knowledge, and to meet some people that know what they are talking about when it comes to forced induction. Thanks to AznBoi for the k20a.com plug, looks promising.

green_henry, the extra stuff that no one thinks about is actually a good topic, and I have a few questions about tuning and troubleshooting. I have a good idea of the installation, I have spoken to a few performance techs and watched plenty of videos, I think I know about as much as the internet can teach me about the installation and to learn more, I think I'd need to get my hands on some parts. However, I know little about the process of tuning. What steps are involved in tuning the car for FI? What kind of cost are we talking about for the initial tune? How will I know if the tune was good? What issues can arise from an improperly tuned setup?

I definitely understand the desire to make your ride everything it could be / should be, but when it gets into 6 digits (~10k), I think I'd be looking at a different car altogether (e.g. used M3).
Best wishes on whichever route you take (sincerely) and if you do turbocharge your TSX, please let us know how it goes. I hope you end up being happy with whatever choice you make.
