Is it necessary to have the 5000 miles service???

I bought my TSX on Sept 2003. Now, I have around 5000 miles on it and I am wondering whether I should take my car to dealership for 5000 miles service or wait till it hits 10,000 miles. Please give me advice! Any thoughts?

There's a 5k mile service?

I just got my oil change.. Didn't even bother with the 10k service...just got oil change and rotated tires...

Basic service every year or 10,000 miles is pretty much required.

You've ownd the car for a year. Change the oil and filter, have the tires rotated and check the brakes while you have the tires off.
