I have a 2004 TSX with Navi. For awhile I had the setting set to "Auto" so the Navi would be dark (night) when I had my lights on, and brighter (day) when I had my lights off.

However, recently I had to switch it to dark because I thought it was too bright and I didn't need my lights.

Now, I have tried to switch it back to "Auto" but it will not switch when I turn on my lights on and off anymore.

Does anyone know what I need to do to fix my navi so it will switch back and forth when I turn my lights on and off?

I appreciate any assistance offered. Thank You!

 

Make sure the dash brightness light switch is not full max. Back it of a few clicks and nav will dim automatically when lights come on.
