Navigation Problem

Ok here it goes. I purchased my 07 almost 2 months ago. It has almost 4k on it already. I love my car, but I'm now having huge regrets. I can't believe I didn't get it with the Navi!! What was I thinking?!? This is the first new car I have ever purchased and I was terrified and just figured I couldn't really afford to get it with a Navi, but now that I look back I could have. Would it be totally insane to try and trade it in for a new one with Navi? I put 8k down on it and the total was 27k out the door. What should I do?!? Just stick with the one i have for a couple years, then trade down the road?

I really had to convince my wife we needed the Navi system in a city of 600,000 folks we lived in for +6 years. Once we got it, she said we will never purchase a car without a Navi again.

I think you will take a cash money hit either way (cash up front or higher payments) if you trade the 07 in right now for a Navi 07. It could be as high as $1000 to $1750 extra to get the Navi.

A lot of folks on the forum will tell you to go aftermarket for the same money. You can get DVD/XM/Sirius/CD/Back-up camera/Rear LCD screen system for the same price.

I like the look of the TSX with navi; but, for the same money you can get some kick-ass aftermarket units. I would hit the local aftermarket stereo install shop and compare what you get for $1700 before going down to the Acura dealership.

you will take a bloodbath to the tune of $6-7k if you tell your dealer you want a trade in to get a navi. I would check out the single-din flip-out navi screens like the Pioneer N3. Check for pics of Kenny's setup, he's got this. You can have a nice, almost-oem integrated navi system for well under $2k.

Or, if you absolutely have to have the acura navi, the parts can usually be sourced from a junkyard for 1500-2000, and then you're in for 1 looooong weekend of DIY work.

Wow, screw that! I think I will look into the Pioneer. Will the voice commands still come out of my speakers like the OEM Navi does?
