Navigation issues... is this normal?

Hey guys,

I am not sure if this is normal or not, but I've noticed that I kind of have to push kind of hard to get my navigations touch screen to respond. I am not talking like a ton of force, but a pretty decent push in order for it to respond. I am not sure if it use to be like this or not, since for the better half of the past 6 months I've been using the joy stick to avoid tons of finger prints on the Navi screen. Anyway's, I was putting in an address the other day, and I noticed that this force had to be used across the ENTIRE Navi screen, it wasn't just one spot. I'm thinking that I am just use to using the touch screen on my iPhone which responds to the lightest tap. If anyone could just confirm that it takes a decent tap to get the navi screen to respond, that would be great. Otherwise, I'll have Acura take a look at it when I take the car in for the next service visit.

Thanks much.

Jeff

how long have you had your car for? - has it gotten worse since you've had it or has it always been the same, it does require a bit of 'force' but I think that's to prevent accidental touches while you're driving and trying to input stuff....

Mine is not like that at all. Just a simple light touch is (and should be) enough.

i realized sometimes its slow to respond. so maybe you're just putting more force than you need to.
