Alright i have a 2004 tsx and i was using the voice control until like 2007 and it stopped working last year.

so i press the voice button and i speak clearly and the voice system does not respond to my commands.

Do you think the mic could be screwed up? or is it a simple fix?

I know there is command for stop recognition. do you think i might have shut it off by accident? i remember saying a command once, and the car thought i said stop recognition and it stopped recognizing. But isn't that just for the time you do it? and then it resets when you restart the car?

i don't know, but this sucks, they will probably charge me hundreds for a new mic at Acura. if anyone has any ideas, please help me i would appreciate it a lot.

i want to use the voice recognition so badly, its annoying to have a navi system with all these features and the biggest feature of all is messed up.

 

I've quit using mine because it was so bad at recognizing my speech commands.
Same with bluetooth. People say that I sound like I have my windows down when they're all closed.

Definitely a mic issue with mine.

 

I think I might want to also clean or somehow replace mine too, mine's getting sloppy at recognizing my voice commands, I have to practically yell while enunciating at it.

The mic is just where the Homelink buttons are, it comes out as one unit with the homelink.

 

where can i get one?
