Is my drivers side visor broken? How do I fix it?
Heres the situation:
The drivers side visor is not flush with the roof anymore and sits (more like hangs now) a lot lower then the passenger side one. It wont stay anymore, Im thinking a spring is broken or something. Its pretty annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this?

yeah its really bothersome actually... i was thinking about fixing it myself, but was worried about messing up the wiring since it has a light... how did you fix it?

I had to order a new visor. Just remove the cover with a flat head screwdriver. Remove the screws and unclip the light connector. Reverse the order with the new visor. As good as new. The new visor has been installed for a few months and still works.

My passenger visor is starting to go now too. It hangs about an inch from the roof and am sure it will get worse just like my driver side visor did. This is ridiculus! Maybe I just use my visors a lot more than other people.

I got infected with the visor malfunction as well. I heard a "pop" one day when I turned it down, and it's been hanging ever since. I have found that holding it up (to put it away) for 3-5 secs keeps it up higher than if I were to just push it up there. Seems less annoying. No longer have warranty, so planning ordering the parts and doing the work myself.

Oliver!!!
Shouldn't be too tough. I had a low hanger in my old Accord. Found one at a junk yard. Took about 10 minutes to change it out, mostly because I stripped out one of the screws removing the old one.

I bought a new one, got tired of the stupid thing hanging in my face.
I bought it at the place below. Seems to be holding up well. I'll keep you updated.

Make a hole, coming thru!
Same problem here with a 2006 TSX. Removed the visor* , tied off the wiring, and took the visor inside to manhandle it. While manhandling it, got the spring situated right. There's a strong spring that snugs the visor to the headliner, but if it gets week, the visor may dangle an inch or so. Your call if that's unacceptable or not.
After manhandling it, I resinstalled and it sorta kinda stays in place with less than an inch of dangle. So I forestall the $121-$145 parts replacement for another year.
*
1. With a small interior removal tool, pop the cover. Bend it and remove it from the visor spindle.
2. Undo the two metal screws (Torx T-25s on mine).
3. Gently feed out the wiring connector and associated wiring.
4. press the tab on the male end (in teh roof) to disconnect from the visor's female end.
5. Zip-tie the wiring to one of the reinstalled screws (or the screw hole) to keep from slipping into teh roof.
