Motor mounts replacement help

So recently I've been feeling some vibrations at idle (in drive and reverse). The vibrations go away when switched to neutral or pressing the gas. I'm suspecting that the motor mounts are going and i've been reading on the forum here which are pointing to the front and rear.

I did some tests: Pressing on the brake and giving gas while in drive rocks the engine more than it should. Doing the same thing while in reverse rocks the engine same way. This most likely means the front and back are going. I also lost some acceleration which I think may be due to this.

Idk what kind of mounts are in the car right now but I'm thinking definitely go OEM based on the posts I've been reading. I've looked at Anchor at Rockauto for 130$ all three mounts. I'd rather get OEM which was $350 for front and rear from oemacuraparts.

My questions are: Does anyone have a DIY for the front and rear? I've heard the front aren't as bad as the rear. Should I just do the front and take it to shop for the rear? What kind of tools do I need if I tackled both? I don't have any air tools or anything. Any help is appreciated!

the rear is pretty hard ONLY because its un-reachable with your hands.

I'm short and instead of leaning over the engine bay to get to the rear, I had to climb on top of the engine. some one taller would be able to lean over engine bay to get to rear.

do the mounts one at a time. it's sort of like a puzzle. if you uninstall all, it'll be hard to line up the mounting points.

make sure you have a jack and a little piece of board to jack up the oil pan...this will be necessary if the mounting points dont line up

For the front you need to take out the radiator fans and use a swivel end impact wrench with a long extension to get to the bolts. Move the radiator hoses out of the way with your hands to get the socket on the bolts and then you are good. For the rear, it's harder and yes just try to move stuff out of the way and get to it from the top. Side is easy, you can likely see all you need to get that one done. There are write-ups around, I can't remember where though.

In terms of what mounts to buy, if you don't want to spend money on OEM ones you can buy a Beck/Arnley front mount WITH the vacuum line. For me, that was just as good as OEM and only around 110 bucks I think. I have the anchor side mount and anchor rear. The anchor rear is very stiff, so in the winter the car is pretty rough at low RPMs. In the summer, it is still stiffer than OEM, but I don't mind. I would recommend anyone stay with OEM (except for the side) you can get any with anchor there, why not.
