Motor Mount

Motor Mount
Has anyone ever had to replace there motor mount?
I have a 2005 AT with 65000 miles. I started to hear a noise every time I came out of a stop or a red light. I took it to a friend and he told me it was the motor mount. I was just wondering if I'm alone on this one, or if any of you have had this problem. O yea and this weekend I had to replace power steering pressure hose, has anyone replaced that before?

Only one of them is a hydraulic mount I believe. It's the one in the back that's mounted vertically to the sub frame. The other two are axial type mounts that are just rubber. They're set up so the engine sort of pivots from the front on the two axial mounts and the fluid filled one in the back sort of acts like a shock absorber being compressed. I forget if that rear mount is an active mount in the TSX like it is in the TL where the pressure is varied with the RPMs. The idea being at idle the pressure reduced so the mount becomes softer and the car vibrates less.

Seems like I'm alone on this one.

FWIW the front, rear and right side engine mounts are all fluid filled. The front mount is "active" in that it's stiffness is controlled by manifold vacuum switched on/off by the PCM.
