Loose shrader valve..
Loose shrader valve..
Hi guys,
I took my 2007 TSX into Honda today to get a B-1 service done on it. Anyway, once the car was done, I went out to lunch with my fiance. Upon coming back to my car, I noticed the TPMS light pop on, and saw that one of my rear tires was really low on air.
Anyway, I grabbed the air compressor and attempted to re-inflate the tire, however, when I took off the valve stem cap, my tire started deflating rapidly. I immediately called Honda, and managed to put enough air back into the tire to make it back to the dealership. At the dealership, they ended up re-tightening the shrader valve.
Here's my question. What would cause the shrader valve to become loose in the first place? Should I invest in a tool to tighten it? Is this a common issues with tires?
Thanks much!
