Locking issue (my car is bugging out)
Hello fellow tsx owners,
Last night i got a call from a friend saying that my park lights were on
I went out to my car and every door was closed but the parking lights were on, i then noted that as i unlocked the car with the remote, THERE WAS NO RESPONSE.
I then put the key in the door and manually unlocked the car. I started teh car to see if my battery was dead and the car fired right up. I then noted that (2004 AT) on the cluster, EVERY DOOR WAS LIGHT UP AS OPEN! but the doors were all closed. I then hit the lock button on the door and there as ZERO response. I manually relocked each door got out the car and attempeted to arm the car via alarm remote. No response. So i then put the key back in and turned the lock to lock the door. The freaking lock up opened right back up. Each time i turnthe lock to lock it just opens right back up. Like the lock (up) button is stuck or some type of short.
I cant even get into my trunk unless i open the backseat.
I have never had an issue with the car. Used the car couple of days ago and there was no issue. I walk past the car EVERYDAY and there was no problem until lastnight.
So the car was parked fine and not moved, and then all of a sudden this happens. Luckily i got frustrated adn turned the key in the door about 50 times super fast and the doors remained locked somehow. I park my car on the street so i didnt really mess with it becaseu it was dark out and i was already pissed off.
Any suggestions as to what me be causing this.
I did a visual check and there werent any marks as in the car got hit or tried to be broken into.
Again the symptoms are:
-ALL DOOR ARE SAID TO BE UNLOCK VIA CLUSTER
-THE DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WITH EITEHR THE DRIVER OR PASSENEGER CONTROL ON THE DOOR
-WHEN I PUT THE KEY IN THE DOOR TO LOCK, IT JUST REOPENS
-NO RESPONSE WITH THE ALARM REMOTE (STOCK BY THE WAY) WETHER IT BE UNLOCK LOCK TRUNK (DIDNT TRY PANIC BC I DIDNT WANT TO DRAW ATTENTION TO THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING FOR MY NEIGHBORS TO SEE)
